Recent projects investigate liminality, memory, and slowness as aesthetic, political and personal practice
Q+A
Best season of the year in Toronto
Autumn. Without a doubt.
Coffees per day and from where
At least 3; 2 at home and one from 135 Ossington or NineTails.
Which piece of art you've created is your favourite, and why?
I think I still have two favourites, one has been sold for a while- Dream + Memory. The second is Barbershop: YDS, which just came off an exhibition. I love the deep perspective and the free-handed lines. I love blending real spaces with my memories of them, and amping everything up to make things feel a little bit surreal, and I think both of these pieces accomplish just that.
