My work on Partial is predominantly a mix of traditional and digital painting, but I aim to constantly evolve my practice by incorporating new techniques, materials, and methodologies. More and more, I gravitate towards colour and experimentation rooted in the expression of spatial perception.
Originally from Central Asia, I grew up in, and am currently based in Toronto, Canada- a city that significantly impacts the focus of my work.

Which piece of art you've created is your favourite, and why?
I think I still have two favourites, one has been sold for a while- Dream + Memory. The second is Barbershop: YDS, which just came off an exhibition. I love the deep perspective and the free-handed lines. I love blending real spaces with my memories of them, and amping everything up to make things feel a little bit surreal, and I think both of these pieces accomplish just that.
